Delivery and gift dates

Every book is printed after you order, close to you, and posted straight to the address you give us. Here is exactly how long that takes and the last safe day to order for each gift day.

How long it takes

Printing takes a few days, then the post takes a few more. Most books arrive within 7 to 10 days of your order, and we plan with ten days for every country.

Last safe order dates

Our promise: order by the date above and the book is there for the day. If a book ordered in time misses its gift day, we refund it.

Missed the date?

You can still give the book. Order with the Special Offer on the last step of the create flow: your book goes to the front of the print queue, ships express, and you receive the digital copy by email right away, so you can read it together on the day while the printed book is on its way.

How it's packed

Every book goes out in a rigid book-wrap box, cut to its exact size so it cannot shift in transit. Corners take the knocks in the post, so the corners are what the box is built to protect.

It also arrives ready to hand over. No padded envelope to cut open first.

Printed near you

Our printer has workshops in Australia, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more. Books for other countries are printed at the nearest workshop. No customs forms, no waiting on a boat.

Sending it straight to them

Enter their address at checkout and add a gift message if you like. Far away? Order two copies, keep one at yours, and read it together over the phone.

Changes after ordering

You have 24 hours after ordering to change a name, a spelling or the dedication, free. A real person reads every book before it prints. If the book arrives damaged or wrong on our side, we remake it free.
